Walla Walla High School Leadership Retreat Weekend

Can I please speak to the Congregation???

WOW . . . It’s pretty much all I can say. You all touched my heart during a period when I needed you! That is sad . . . I am the speaker you were supposed to need me but in me sharing and giving of myself I also needed you and I received everything and more. I am sorry if that is selfish or unprofessional. I certainly don’t mean to be selfish in the spirit of BEING present for you all. You were great!!!

Jillian, you did an awesome job and the kids should be so fortunate. I know you don’t like the credit but accept it with a smile. This was for the kids and that is why we do what we do.

Teachers – ALL OF YOU!!!! Any adult that was there from the kitchen and servers, chaperone’s, team leaders, bus drivers, etc. It is so awesome to see so many adults that want to give back and share with young people today. To see the kids outside school and to get to know them – Just fabulous. To be playing dodgeball with the kids and laughing. I have nothing but incredible things to say about your school and the people.

WHO STOLE THE COOKIE FROM THE COOKIE JAR? You know what I mean . . . I got my camera back and I am very thankful and appreciative that it came up. I have a concern though . . . Please don’t have returned it because you found out that it was Jeff’s. I hope it was in your heart that what you did was wrong and you felt guilty. If that is the case I think this was a great learning experience. Thank you for returning it and I have no hard feelings.

This is life. Let others live theirs and let’s live ours. We should never judge for we wouldn’t want others to judge us. We shouldn’t ever take from another person because we see how hard we work to be able to have what we have. Hard work pays off and there is no better feelings in the world than working so hard to achieve something so special and meaningful.

I have received so many requests to be friends and great messages and comments from people. I am truly touched. I am a big fan of Walla Walla High School. The memories will last a lifetime.

Lastly, we go back to school now and to daily routines. What are you gonna do now that camp is over? Are you going to forget and remember that this past weekend was just fun, laughing, dodgeball, football, a speaker, and girls or boys? Or, did you see WHY Walla Walla High School invested in you? It was about personal growth and responsibility, opening up, sharing, being, reflecting. It was another seed that was planted in your young life. Take it and do something. Be a better person today than you were yesterday. Be better tomorrow than you were today. Give of yourself, be more family oriented, go after your dreams, be less selfish, be more open-minded, find another trusted adult, see that people want to help and inspire you.

Awesome weekend!!!

I love you all.
