Saturday Morning Sunshine

It’s Saturday morning at 7:10 am and I am on my way to the gym. I love the gym and I love working out. Unfortunately, my travel schedule at certain time of the year doesn’t allow me to visit the gym as much as I would like but every time I have the opportunity to bring sexy back . . . I am there! Off to the gym but first some random thoughts from a great week of traveling.

First, I want to thank everyone that has invited me to speak to their youth. I was in New Jersey at a great high school this week. Definitely, one of the best high schools I have been given the honor of speaking at. It was awesome. Secondly, I was off to Kansas City to work with great people that have given me an opportunity to speak not just once but about three times. Lastly, I wrapped up my week in the beautiful city of Cross River, NY where I met about 900 wonderful and most incredibly respectful 6th-8th graders who sat so quiet and respectful on the floor of a gymnasium while I blah blah blah for about 1 hour and 10 minutes. Thanks for a great week!

Reflecting on what is important . . . I love what I do. I love the people I meet. I love the meaningfulness, the fulfillment, and the rewards that such a career gives me. On top of such a great opportunity to speak I love coming home to family and friends. Life is really awesome.

I saved a life this week or maybe two as I made a citizens arrest. Met knew friends and watched more stupid and disrespectful people in every day lives. I had some laughs dealt with a little pain but the laughs sure outweighed the pain.

Waking up on my way to the gym reflecting on what a great week and a great opportunity I have to inspire and work with young people while trying to make a difference and take stupid out of some people. Some are just really stupid and nothing would work.

Until later . . . (I only have today at home bc I have to fly out to Miami tomorrow morning and I have to take my daughter dress shopping for Homecoming next Saturday night) See you soon and make it a great day!!

Thanks to my new friends . . . Jon, best to you with the baby on the way. Hope you take up on my idea of that dinner thought. Spencer, you are a good man. Best to you and hang in there. This could be good for the both of you and you could be doing the right thing for her too. I am thinking of you. Pricilla, best to you and thank you again!!!! Ms. Schell, you are a wonderful person. Thanks for inviting me into your school. I know you’ve worked well over a year to get me in. To your daughter Jillian . . . You are a cutie!!! Thanks for showing me where the cafeteria was.

I love you all. Thanks for being my friend.
