Jeff Yalden takes HOG’s to Gettysburg

Well, it is day #2 and we are having a great time.  One issue happened with one of our bikes and we took it to Battlefield Harley Davidson in Gettysburg.  Can you believe that they took the bike in right away and said, “Give us an hour and a half and we’ll have it done for you.”  With a man down and one on vacation, on Memorial Day weekend too, they got the bike up and ready to ride.  What great customer service and we are happy customers of Battlefield Harley Davidson.

An awesome ride up to Mechanicsburg where we took in Applachian Harley Davidson.  Then we headed out of 30 Westbound to Breezewood, PA.  Great ride, but extremely disappointed with the bar at the top of the mountain.  Then we headed back to Gettysburg.  All in all, we did 220 miles and enjoyed some great riding.

Then we got back to the cabin and a few people had a couple of lemonades to take in a great night.  Ask them how they were feeling this morning.

Today, Saturday was amazing.  We rode 238 miles from 9 am to arriving back at 6:30 pm.  This was some awesome riding in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, and Virginia.  We took in Antietam Battlefields, and rode great rides south to Fairfax, VA.  We visited Patriot Harley Davidson where we met up with John Murphy and got VIP passes for Rolling Thunder.  What an amazing day of riding today.

Back at the cabin and getting rest before heading out at 5:00 am tomorrow morning for Rolling Thunder.
