Day #9 Jeff Yalden Weight Loss Journey

Good Day Ya’ll,

Well, I blogged last night and nothing much has changed.  After dinner, in which we had Chicken Stir-Fry I watched The Biggest Loser.  I love that show and get inspired watching it.  The difference is not when I watch it I don’t have a big bowl of ice creamwhile watching it thinking, “Someday that’s going to be me.”  I am sick of the someday thinking and the excuses we make all the time.  The time is NOW.

I loved what the trainer said and I am spacing his name right now.  Not Jillian but “him”, he said, “Think, Eat and Exercise.”  It is that easy.  Think of what you are going to eat today.  Eat healthy.  Exercise.  REPEAT.  HIS NAME IS BOB.

Went to bed about 10:30 pm and up at 5:45 am.

Immediately packed my days food and make my 3egg white 1 egg peppers, mushrooms and 1 whole wheat english muffin.  Made the fire alarm go off because I like dark toast.  Awoke the whole family . . . LOL.

Off to the gym for a bi/tricep workout and burn calories in cardio.  Great workout.  Hit the steam room (love it) and took a good shower.  Down another 2.0 pounds from Monday.

So, at this pace my body is losing about .7 – 1.1 pounds a day I think.  Probably a little more.  My goal is not quick weight loss.  My goal is 2 healthy pounds a week.  My BIG goal is just to learn proper nutrition and to eat more healthy.

Think.  Eat.  Exercise.  I think I will adopt that slogan/mantra and make it a part of my daily thoughts.  Ultimately, we are responsible for the bodies we want.  We can make excuses all day and in three months if we don’t do something about it now we’ll be making those excuses then too.

No more!!!!

For my lunch and meals today:

2 bananas

2 oranges

left over Chicken Stir Fry

left over shrimp/scallops and pasta (fettucini)

Yogurt

4 single servings of cheese

Just had a protein shake after the gym so I think I will be ok for a little while.  Eat every 2-3 hours to keep food in the system and your metabolism burning.

NOBODY SHOULD BE 300 POUNDS UNLESS YOUR VINCE WILFORK.
