Conquer Anger and Stress With Jeffrey’s Box

Jeff Yalden teaches two methods in the video above to combat anxiety and stress, one of which is the 4 Cs.  The four Cs are the following: always stay cool, always stay calm, always be collected, always learn how to control your emotions.  Remember to be cool, calm, collected, and in control, and you will find that much of the anger and stress will be eliminated from your day-to-day life.

Jeffrey’s box is another great way to combat stress and prevent anger before it happens. Below is a quick visual of the steps required to complete Jeffrey’s box:

If you notice, there are only two simple steps: breathing in and pushing out.  Each step is repeated four times, giving you a four sided box.  While this may seem too simple to work, it can actually have a major effect on your mood and level of stress.  Breathe in deeply for a count of four, and let your belly expand like a baby.  Once you have deeply inhaled, exhale for a period of two seconds.  If you complete Jeffrey’s Box three to four times a day, you should see major improvements in your level of happiness and greatly lowered stress levels.  Do it in the morning when you wake up.  Take a break in the afternoon to let your worries exit through your mouth, and do it before bed to let everything go.

Heavy stress and anger can cause major health issues and take rein of your life.  As Jeff says, “Just let it go man.”  No small issue is worth ruining your life over.  All problems are temporary and with time, you will be able to overcome them.  Ask yourself if you should really be stressed out.  Are the battles that you are picking necessary and worth your time?  Are you in control and is the problem something that you should be worrying about?

By following the four Cs and exhaling your anger through Jeffrey’s Box, you can go from a life of stress and worry to a life of happiness and success.  Your attitude in life controls everything you do, and changing it can be as easy as breathing in and breathing out. When you worry about problems, they often become much larger than they should really be.  In order to live a happy life, you must not be engulfed with stress and anger; you must be cool, calm, collected, and in control.
